Art Works for Business is a Bucks based initiative that brings together local artists and businesses. Originally supported by the District Councils of Wycombe, Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern and South Bucks, Buckinghamshire County Council and Arts Council England, ART Works for Business is currently owned and operated by Sound Solutions Marketing.

Services Available:

For a business:

• Exhibitions: provide space for an exhibition either with a single artist or group, taking a percentage of sales as commission either for you or for a charity of your choice. Remember to choose an artist whose work suits the scale of the space you have available; small spaces are no barrier to successful exhibitions.
• Artist Residency: involve an artist with your daily routine, offering you valuable insights and feedback about your business as well as stimulation for your staff and customers.
• Team Building: work with an artist to motivate and inspire your staff though creative thinking and to improve relationships within your workplace.
• Innovation: employ an artist to help you to address specific issues within the business such as design, illustration, brand image, promotion, creative development and marketing
• Artist Talks and Demonstrations: invite an artist to demonstrate their skills and talk about their work. Choose your artist carefully and this could provide a strong link to your business and an excellent public relations or marketing opportunity.

ART Works for Business, Mike Watson, Managing Director

As well as a business management and marketing professional, Mike has been involved in arts marketing and administration for many years. Mike is Chair of Arts4every1 the community arts network for Wycombe District and Director of Sound Solutions Marketing an agency based in Lane End. Mike is also on the Wycombe and South Bucks Chamber of Commerce Council.
 
With interests and skills is a wide range of creative disciplines, including graphic design, photography, video, music production, drumming and web design, Mike is passionate about helping artists improve their marketability through better business engagement. Equally he truly values the role artists can play in helping businesses and organisations improve their success by proactive engagement of the arts and creativity.
